Long may they challenge our prejudices. A lass I taught last year, who was a real pain in the backside, was a changed character when I found she was in my class again this year. "What happened?" I asked. "I suppose I just realised it was time to grow up," she replied. Now there's a challenge to get that kind of realisation across the board.
